Teak-Like Decking and Marine Docking System

Ocean Decks will be launching a new, patented decking system this week at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas that looks like teak and is designed to withstand the harsh elements inflicted by coastal environments.

The decking is constructed of industrial-grade PVC made structurally rigid by inserting Green Eagle’s composite laminate into the deck board profile during the extrusion process, which exponentially increases the stiffness and rigidity. The exterior surface is covered with a flexible PVC surface that mimics the classic look of teak, but won’t fade, stain, mold and is mildew resistant.

Boards are available in two teak-like finishes: no re-sealing, staining or painting required. In addition, they allow for a 24” or greater joist span, which reduces material and installation cost, and requires no spacing between the boards due to its interlocking design.
