Keylink and Superior Outdoor Products are celebrating a multi-decade partnership with Tri-State Forest Products, Inc. that’s long benefited both companies.
Keylink, a manufacturer of aluminum railing systems, and Superior, a manufacturer of vinyl railing, fence and pergola, have relied on Tri-State as a distributor partner in the Midwest.
“Distribution is key to our business model, so having valuable partners like Tri-State is essential to getting product to our dealers,” said Javan Lapp, Keylink and Superior CEO. “Tri-State was our first distribution customer and we’ve worked with them for nearly 30 years. We appreciate their commitment to growing with us.”

One innovative new product that Latham is excited about is Keylink’s new Discovery Series railing, a product that Tri-State recently brought into stock. “Discovery checks all the boxes for us,” he explained. “It meets a need in the market while being a unique installer-friendly railing that’s going to move off the shelf.”
Discovery Series railing comes in textured black with square balusters. For new installations, aluminum posts come fitted with factory-installed brackets, while aluminum post sleeves and brackets are available to upgrade already-existing wooden posts.
The value of their long-term partnership is evident in the business relationship they’ve built.
