IG Railing, frameless glass railing manufacturer, will be distributed by wholesale building material distributor Parksite Inc. in its New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland territories.

“We chose IG Railing because we see the demand growing for enhanced view products, and nothing outperforms frameless glass. The value proposition to all our markets is very complementary to our existing business, “said Bob Higgins, senior VP of sales at Parksite. “The IG Railing team is just hitting their growth stride, but their foundation of leadership, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit is a great fit for Parksite and we are excited for this partnership.”

IG Railing is built on a base mount, called a spigot that houses a Wi-Fi controlled LED light system, and holds 1/2" (12mm) tempered low-iron glass. At night, the low iron glass and LED lighting allows illumination to flow throughout the panels. Glass connector accessories, top rail and spigots are available in matte black or polished finishes.

“We’re excited to partner with Parksite as we continue to execute our North America distribution plan,” said Mike Kunard, co-owner of IG Railing. “Parksite has been a pivotal distributor to accelerate category shifts for decades, and we are committed to providing the leadership needed in the category shift to glass railing in the outdoor living category.”

According to Parksite CEO, Ron Heitzman, “Every one of our associates is dedicated to contributing to the success of both our customers and our suppliers. The dedication and excitement that is generated when everyone is an owner is extraordinary.”

About IG Railing
IG Railing was founded by Mark Behnecke, an inventor and deck builder in Australia, where glass is the dominant railing choice. In 2020, Mark partnered with Julie and Pat Noonan and Mike Kunard to create the category shift to frameless glass railing in North America through a two-step distribution model.
