Paslode, a leading manufacturer of cordless and pneumatic nailers, staplers, and fasteners, is excited to introduce the Cordless 1-1/2” Positive Placement Metal Connector Nailer, a fuel-powered, cordless metal connector nailer. The tool has Paslode’s proprietary Positive Placement nose probe, which helps the contractor quickly and accurately find metal connector holes and drive nails with precision and speed without the need of a hose or compressor.
“From installing joist hangers to hurricane ties, pro contractors can now move freely throughout the job site,” says Shafaq Imtiazi, Paslode product manager for Cordless Framing Systems. “This means they can easily navigate around wall frames and climb up on ladders without being tied to a hose or without the added size and weight of battery only technology.”
The Paslode Fuel System is easy to use and makes the cordless nailers lighter, more reliable, and more durable than battery-only nailers. At only 6.7 lbs., the nailer’s lightweight and compact design allows for easy use overhead and in tight spaces. Designed to achieve maximum productivity, the fuel cell lasts 800 shots and the battery fully charged lasts approximately 9,000 nails.
The patented cordless Positive Placement probe quickly and accurately holes in any type of metal connector. It is designed for optimal performance when using Paslode Positive Placement fuel and nail packs, which are offered in 1-1/2” lengths in both .131” and .148” diameters, and come in Brite or mechanically galvanized finishes. The nails are heat treated with easy-to-see head markings that make it easier for identification during inspection. The nails are ICC-ES code recognized (ESR-2126 & ESR-3326). The galvanization meets ASTM B695 Class 55 recognized for use in ACQ and all pressure treated lumber.
This new cordless tool, like all Paslode’s other cordless tools and metal connector nailers, comes with a two-year service promise that if anything goes wrong, the company will fix it for free; or if unrepairable, will replace it with a new tool.
