Eric Van Dixhorn has opened an Archadeck franchise in Fort Collins, CO.
Archadeck Outdoor Living of Northern Colorado becomes the newest of more than 60 Archadeck franchises across the U.S. They are part of a national brand that specializes in the design and construction of outdoor living spaces, including decks, porches, patios, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and more.
Van Dixhorn began his career as a design engineer, became a project manager with Walbec Group, VP of engineering for NITROcrete, and ultimately director of technical sales for a pair of software developers serving the construction industry.
He noted that securing his general contractor’s license “was a lengthy process, but we were able to make the case that if you can build bridges and heavy-highway structures, you are also qualified to build decks.”
